Microsoft has confirmed that Grace period of Windows 7 (All versions) can be extended upto 120 days!!!! In a Windows Secret newsletter a trick was was made public. This trick can be used to RESET the COUNTER for the Grace period. When you install any Microsoft OS , a 30 days for grace period is given to activate the OS within it. At time of installation you need not to have activation key , as a must. It used the previous practices of MS that while installing any software or os you required the activation key.

The RESET of COUNTER can be THREE TIMES!! This means if Reset it at last day (30 th ) day of grace period you can extend your grace period upto 120 days!!

And you must be waiting to know the trick...Well here it is...

1. Open cmd prompt in any version of windows 7

2. Type slmgr -rearm

3. Restart your windows..!!
